English Vocabulary A2 – Verbs
to believe – to think that something is true, correct, or real;
to call – to use a phone to talk to someone;
to find (something) out – to get information about something because you want to know more about it, or to learn a fact or piece of information for the first time;
to guess – to give an answer to a particular question when you do not have all the facts and so cannot be certain if you are correct;
to jump – to push yourself suddenly off the ground and into the air using your legs;
to stand – to be in a vertical state or to put into a vertical state, especially (of a person or animal) by making the legs straight;
to suppose – to think that something is likely to be true;
to turn – to (cause to) change the direction in which you are facing or moving;
