Classic little rhyme for kids! It’s often used as a simple action poem to help children learn parts of the face or just to have a bit of ticklish fun.
What do you suppose?
A bee sat on my nose!
Then what do you think?
He gave a little wink!
And he said, 'I beg your pardon!'
I thought you were a garden!
Ways to Play The Tickle Game: Use your finger to pretend to be the bee. Landing on the child’s nose, toes, and knees as you say the words. Vocabulary Building: You can swap out the body parts to help a child learn new words (e.g., “Then he sat on my wrist” or “Then he sat on my tummy”). The “Buzz”: Make a loud Bzzzzzz sound at the end and gently “fly” the bee away to make the child laugh.
